Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call with US President Donald Trump to discuss developments in the region and their regional and international implications, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. 
During the call, the crown prince stressed the need to prioritize dialogue to de-escalate tensions and underscored the importance of making every effort to restore calm, paving the way for diplomatic solutions that would deliver positive outcomes, preserve regional security and stability, and prevent the conflict from escalating further with repercussions for regional and international security and stability.
The two leaders also reviewed areas of existing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the US and discussed ways to strengthen them.
