Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defense said the danger in Al Kharj Governorate has passed, urging citizens and residents to continue following official instructions and safety guidelines.

Earlier, the General Directorate of Civil Defense had issued an early warning through the National Early Warning Platform, alerting the public to a potential danger in Al Kharj and calling on citizens and residents to comply with official instructions and safety guidance.

The directorate stressed the importance of remaining calm, following instructions issued by the relevant authorities, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside buildings or interior rooms away from windows, while staying there until the danger had passed. It also urged the public to avoid going outdoors during the warning period.

It further advised people to stay away from glass, balconies and rooftops, while those already outdoors were instructed to take shelter inside the nearest building or behind a solid barrier. The directorate also urged the public to avoid gathering, refrain from taking photos, and stay away from hazardous areas.
