Saudi Arabia and Canada intend to sign 13 agreements and memoranda of understanding today, with a total value of $1 billion, during Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s visit to the Kingdom, Al Arabiya reported, citing its sources.

The agreements include infrastructure, mining, and industry, said the sources, adding that the Saudi-Canadian Investment Forum will be held on the sidelines of the visit.

They also stated that the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) will sign two contracts worth $440 million, and that a partnership agreement will also be signed between Maaden and the Canadian company Hatch worth up to $700 million.
