Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) was awarded a contract by the Saudi Irrigation Organization (SIO) to operate and maintain pumping, transmission, and distribution systems for treated and groundwater in the Central Region of Riyadh and its suburbs as well as Al-Aflaj Governorate. 
The contract is valued at SAR 65.6 million (VAT exclusive), AWPT said in a statement to Tadawul.
The financial impact of this project, which will for 60 months, is expected to materialize during Q3 2026.
The company will announce any future developments in this regard in due course, especially after receiving the final version of the contract agreement signed by all parties concerned, the statement added.
