Remittances by expatriates in Saudi Arabia declined 7% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 14.15 billion in May 2026, recent data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed. 
Compared to April 2026, remittances were down nearly 3%, or about SAR 505 million.
