National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) said all crew members and personnel aboard the Wedyan vessel are safe, with no injuries reported, confirming that the cargo remains secure and the vessel is seaworthy.

In a statement on X, Bahri said it notified all relevant authorities immediately after the incident and continues to coordinate with concerned parties, while maintaining ongoing communication with the vessel’s crew and closely monitoring developments.

Bahri reaffirmed that the safety of its personnel, protection of the marine environment, and safe operation of its vessels remain top priorities, adding that it continues to operate its fleet in line with the highest safety and reliability standards.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday strongly condemned Iran’s targeting of the Saudi vessel Wedyan and the Qatari vessel Al Rukayat while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, according to Argaam’s data.
