The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 322 new industrial licenses in April 2026, with total investments exceeding SAR 12.33 billion.

According to the monthly report issued by the ministry’s National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, the projects are expected to create more than 2,977 job opportunities across various regions of the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, 188 new factories began production in April, with investments totalling SAR 2.01 billion and creating an estimated 3,606 new jobs.

The total number of existing industrial facilities in the Kingdom rose by more than 11% to 13,660 by the end of April 2026, up from 12,289 in the year-earlier period. The number of operating industrial facilities increased by nearly 2% from 13,412 factories in March.
