SENAAT says share transfer via private transaction completed after approvals
Advanced Building Industries Co. (SENAAT) said it received a letter on June 11 informing it that 11.7 million shares, representing 19.5% of the company’s capital, were transferred from Zamil Group Holding Co. and Zamil Group Investment Co. Ltd. to Abdullah Hamad Al Zamil Sons Holding Co.
The new shareholder is a closed joint-stock company owned by the Zamil family.
The share transfer was completed through a private transaction after regulatory approvals, SENAAT said in a statement to Tadawul.
This transaction comes within the framework of an internal restructuring among the major shareholders, without resulting in any change to the company’s strategy or direction. Accordingly, this transfer has led to a change in the list of major shareholders in SENAAT, the statement added.
According to data available on Argaam, SENAAT saw four negotiated deals, on June 10-11, on 9.5 million shares, worth SAR 300 million.
