The system relies on digital fingerprints to measure pilgrims’ transfer times and ensure campaigns comply with approved operational schedules, Al Eqtisadiah reported.

Batouk said that the technology represents a major upgrade to the dispatching system, enabling precise tracking of pilgrims’ movements from their accommodation to the camps, while providing operators with live data to ensure smooth mobility and service integration in line with approved plans.

He added that this Hajj season will mark a significant leap in operational and technological maturity through the adoption of advanced digital systems to monitor the pilgrim journey from departure from their home country until their return after completing the rituals.

Batouk also noted that the system is linked to the Nusuk card issued to all pilgrims, including domestic pilgrims. The card, available in both physical and digital formats, allows access to services and data electronically through smart sensors, supporting faster response times and broader digital integration.

He indicated that distributing the card in pilgrims’ home countries before their arrival in Saudi Arabia helps improve early preparedness, organize movement, and regulate entry into the holy sites.
