The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization requested the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) to ban the entry of imports from 20 automakers to the Kingdom.
The move was taken after the automakers failed to submit the 2024 supply plan within the specified time, Mawani said in a circular.
