Insurance Authority (IA) Chairman Abdulaziz Al Boug said that the Saudi Cabinet’s approval on the rules and procedures governing the committees for resolving insurance disputes and violations will help establish a more reliable and efficient regulatory and legislative environment, thereby enhancing confidence and transparency in the Saudi insurance sector.

Al Boug added that the approval represents a key step toward improving the efficiency of the insurance judicial system in protecting the rights of all parties involved in the insurance process, according to state-run news agency SPA.

According to Argaam data, the Cabinet approved, in its session held yesterday in Jeddah, the rules and procedures governing the committees responsible for adjudicating insurance disputes and violations.
