Saudi Arabia’s exports of chemical industry and related products were up by 18% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 6.92 billion in February 2026.

Compared to January 2026, the chemicals exports increased by SAR 547.9 million, or 9%, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics.

Chemicals and related products made up 22% of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports, which totaled SAR 31.6 billion in February.

Australia was the largest importer of Saudi chemicals, receiving nearly SAR 760.8 million worth, or 11% of total chemical exports. It was followed by India with 10%.

Imports of chemical and industry-related products during February accounted for 8% of the total imports amounting to SAR 76.1 billion.
