In a statement, the CMA cautioned that investing without reviewing the fund’s terms and conditions and understanding their content may involve significant risks. Investors are therefore advised to carefully examine the fund’s documentation, which includes detailed information on the fund, its investment strategy, and associated risk factors, in order to assess the viability of the investment in light of these risks. If the terms and conditions are not fully understood, investors are encouraged to consult the fund manager for further clarification.

The CMA added that its approval of the fund offering should not be construed as an endorsement of the investment’s merits. Rather, the approval indicates that the offering complies with the regulatory requirements under the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.
