RIYADH — The celebration of Saudi Founding Day at Qasr Al-Hukm Palace in Riyadh has set a Guinness World Records title for the largest group performance of the Saudi Ardah, bringing together 925 participants. The celebration was held under the patronage of Emir Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar and Deputy Emir Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and was organized by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Riyadh Region Governorate. Ardah, the traditional Saudi sword dance, was presented in a national artistic performance that embodied a seamless fusion of art and folk heritage, delivered in a display marked by harmony and discipline. The event underscored the Saudi Ardah’s status as one of the most significant expressions of the Kingdom’s cultural identity. This record-breaking milestone reflects ongoing efforts to showcase national heritage in a professional and highly organized manner that meets international standards, reinforcing the Kingdom’s cultural stature and its renewed presence on the global stage.
