Saudi Aramco Base Oil Co. (Luberef) received notices, on Dec.1, from the Ministry of Energy regarding the extension of feedstock allocations for its facilities.
In a Tadawul filing, the company said feedstock allocation for the Jeddah facility has been extended, following ministry’s approval to continue the allocation of 24,500 barrels per day (bpd) until Dec. 31, 2030, renewable. This extension marks an important step in supporting the company’s continued operations in Jeddah.
Luberef added that feedstock allocation for the Yanbu facility has also been extended, with ministry’s approval to maintain the allocation of 50,000 bpd until Jan. 31, 2038.
Furthermore, feedstock allocation for the Yanbu facility has been increased, with Luberef receiving approval to raise the allocation to 65,000 bpd until Nov. 30, 2026, renewable.
The company noted that this increase supports its strategic goals under the second expansion project.
Luberef stated that any further developments will be announced in accordance with applicable regulations.
