‎Bank loans to private sector exceed SAR 3T in April

Loans extended by Saudi banks and financial institutions to the private sector exceeded SAR 3 trillion by the end of April 2025, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank.

Private sector loans amounted to SAR 3.012 trillion, a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Meanwhile, loans granted to non-financial government institutions reached approximately SAR 218.2 billion at the end of April 2025, a 38% increase year-on-year (YoY).

Total loans extended by Saudi banks to both the private sector and non-financial government institutions rose by 17% YoY, to SAR 3.231 trillion by the end of April 2025, compared to SAR 2.772 trillion during the same period in 2024.
