Parsons Corporation signed two contracts with the King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. 
The first contract covers airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking areas, and air traffic control towers. The second contract involves landside infrastructure, such as roads, utilities, tunnels, bridges, a rail network, and landscaping.

Parsons will provide project management services across all phases of both contracts — from early development and design to permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and overall coordination.
According to data available on Argaam, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched the master plan for King Salman International Airport (KSIA) in November 2022 as part of efforts to position Riyadh as a global hub, stimulate transportation, trade, and tourism, and strengthen the Kingdom’s role as a bridge between East and West. The initiative aims to consolidate Saudi Arabia’s status as a leading global logistics center.
KSIA is expected to be one of the world’s largest airports, spanning nearly 57 square kilometers. It will feature six parallel runways and incorporate the existing terminals named after King Khalid. The site will also include 12 square kilometers of support facilities, residential and recreational areas, retail outlets, and other logistics infrastructure.
