Red Sea Global (RSG) is on track to open 19 new resorts in the Red Sea and the Amaala projects this year, said CEO John Pagano.

Speaking during the Saudi-US Investment Forum, Pagano added that the Red Sea project is considered the largest tourism destination in the world to fully operate using renewable energy.

He also indicated that, upon completion of first phase in the two projects by the end of this year, a total of one million ton of carbon dioxide emissions will be save, instead of being released in the atmosphere.

RSG has worked with several US engineering and designing firms, as well as with a number of US manufacturers, including elevators and aircraft producers, according to Pagano.

He also highlighted that RSG collaborated with US hospitality companies like Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton, noting that there are huge opportunities moving forward.
