In a Cabinet statement released after a meeting with a delegation of Saudi businesspeople, Madbouly affirmed his continued commitment to facilitating Saudi investments in Egypt.

He added that the Egyptian government is working in coordination with relevant authorities to overcome challenges facing Saudi firms operating in the country, noting that a committee was previously formed at the Cabinet level to review and resolve complaints submitted by Saudi companies.

Madbouly pointed to a significant rise in the number of Egyptian companies operating in Saudi Arabia, and vice versa, which he said reflects the private sector’s growing confidence in investing in both markets.

He also highlighted the government’s focus on four key sectors to drive economic growth: industry, agriculture, tourism, and telecommunications.
