The General Authority for Competition (GAC) announced decisions on economic concentration applications for February 2025. GAC approved 26 applications, including mergers and acquisitions (MAs), and joint ventures (JVs), following a thorough study of the relevant markets. 
In an official statement, GAC said that 73% of the approvals were for acquisition requests, while 19% were for JV requests, and merger requests accounted for 8% of the total approved requests.
