US stock and bond markets are closed today, Feb. 17, for Presidents’ Day, with Wall Street resuming normal trading tomorrow, Feb. 18.
At the end of last week’s trading, stocks closed mixed, with the Dow Jones closing down 0.37% at 44,546 points, while the SP 500 settled at 6,114 points. Nasdaq rose 0.41% to 20,026 points.
However, all three indexes posted weekly gains as investors weighed President Donald Trump’s latest tariff plans and inflation data.
