The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced that the national payment system “Mada” is ready to support electronic transactions for JCB International (JCBI) cardholders. 
This will enable payments via point-of-sale terminals and cash withdrawals from ATMs across the Kingdom.
The central bank stated that the initiative aims to enhance the payment experience for visitors carrying JCBI cards.
It will facilitate seamless transactions through participating local banks and licensed payment service providers.
The move is part of SAMA’s efforts to develop payment infrastructure and expand electronic payment services. It also supports Vision 2030 goals, promoting a less cash-dependent digital economy and advancing payment digitization.
