MAKKAH — Security patrols in Makkah arrested four residents and one Saudi citizen for crimes of fraud and deception by posting fake and misleading Hajj service advertisements on social media. The residents are Lebanese and Egyptian nationals. The arrested persons were found in possession of cash, computers, forged stamps and documents, and tools used in these illegal activities. They were referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal measures. Public Security urged the people to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions and to report any violations by calling over the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
