Zoujaj accepted the resignation of Walid Afyouni from his position as a General Manager and appointed Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO, effective Feb. 3.
The National Company for Glass Industries’ (Zoujaj) board of directors accepted the resignation of Walid Afyouni from his position as a General Manager for personal reasons, effective Feb. 3, 2026. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the board also decided to appoint Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO, effective the same day.
Al- Ruhaili holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University and has leadership experience in executive management. He has previously held multiple leadership positions in the fields of manufacturing, recycling, and management consulting.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Zoujaj appointed Afyouni as General Manager in July 2023.
