DAMASCUS — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Damascus on Sunday for his first official visit to Syria, according to the state news agency SANA.Zelenskyy was received at Damascus International Airport by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, alongside Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.He later met Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa in the capital, with senior officials from both sides in attendance, including Syria’s defense minister, intelligence chief, and chief of staff.The talks focused on regional and international developments, as well as enhancing cooperation and coordination between the countries.Discussions also emphasized the importance of ensuring the security of food supply routes, amid ongoing global tensions.
