Yansab says early completion of maintenance helped limit the financial impact to SAR 16 million
Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (Yansab) announced the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance and the restart of operations at its ethylene glycol plant ahead of schedule. 
According to a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the early completion reflects its operational excellence culture, reliability, efficient execution of maintenance plans, and adherence to safety standards, which helped limit the financial impact to SAR 16 million.
The relative financial impact will be reflected in the company’s results for Q1 2026.
The company added that the maintenance work is expected to enhance the plant’s reliability and dependability, while improving its operational and production efficiency.
In January, Yansab announced it plans to shut its ethylene glycol plant for 25 days starting Jan. 25 to carry out preventive maintenance in line with industry standards.
