Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s board of directors, based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee, decided on May 5 to extend the appointment of Abdollah Alshehri as Acting CEO, effective May 1, 2025. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the extension will last for three months.

According to data available with Argaam, Wafrah’s board earlier appointed Alshehri as Acting CEO in January 2025, after former CEO Rayan Al-Mansour requested not to renew his contract in December 2024 due to personal reasons.
