Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s board of directors decided today, Jan. 15, to appoint Abdullah Al-Shehri as the Acting CEO, effective Feb. 1. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the decision was based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee.

Al-Shehri has 14 years of experience in corporate management. He previously served as Director of Shared Services at Wafrah, advancing through various roles in human resources (HR) operations and support services management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from King Saud University, along with multiple professional certifications in leadership and management.
