Vehicle movement on the King Fahd Causeway was suspended following regional warning alerts
The King Fahd Causeway Authority announced the precautionary suspension of vehicle traffic on the Causeway.
In a post on its X account this morning, the authority said: “In reference to the alerts issued by the National Early Warning Platform in the Eastern Province over the past hours, vehicle traffic on the King Fahd Causeway has been suspended as a precautionary measure.”
Earlier today, Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki said that 11 ballistic missiles were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Province.
Debris from the ballistic missiles fell near energy facilities, and the damage assessment is still underway.
