US stocks close last week’s trading in red, recording a weekly loss, albeit achieving monthly gains in August.

Investors’ focus this week is on the US non-farm payrolls report (NFP) for August, which will be released on Friday and could significantly impact the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision at its meeting later this month.
