TEHRAN — At least 12 people were killed in separate US-Israeli strikes targeting residential areas in central and western Iran on Saturday.Iran’s state television reported that a strike targeted the village of Hizab in Markazi province in central Iran, hitting a residential house.Six civilians were killed and seven others were injured in the attack, the report said.In a separate incident, the Ilam governorate said a strike targeted a residential house in the city of Eyvan in western Iran, triggering a powerful explosion that destroyed the building.Six members of one family were killed in the attack, including a 6-month-old infant.Rescue teams were continuing debris removal operations at the site in Eyvan, the governorate added.
