Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories saw a higher-than-expected increase in the week ended Feb. 14, according to data released by the US Energy Information Administration.
Commercial crude oil stocks rose by 4.6 million barrels, against expectations of a 3.2 million barrel increase.
Gasoline inventories fell by 200,000 barrels, with the distillate fuel stocks declining by 2.1 million barrels to 116.6 million barrels.
