Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories decreased in the week ended April 25, according to data released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
Commercial crude inventories fell by 2.7 million barrels last week, compared to expectations for a 100,000-barrel rise.
Gasoline inventories also declined by four million barrels, while distillate stocks—including diesel and heating oil—increased by 900,000 barrels.
