The US is considering coordinated oil sales from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, said Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

He added that Washington is not considering restrictions on US energy exports as a way to control prices.

The US has some other options on allowing more sales of Russian oil held in tankers on the water in Asia, Reuters reported, citing Wright.

Late last week, Washington issued ⁠a 30-day waiver allowing the sale of Russian crude currently stranded at sea to continue to India.
