United Cooperative Assurance Co. announced that it received a letter yesterday, Oct. 28, from the Insurance Authority regarding the suspension of issuing or renewing mandatory insurance policies, including domestic labor, health, and motor insurance, effective Oct. 27, 2025, due to violations of supervisory and regulatory instructions.

The company added in a statement on Tadawul that this decision is expected to negatively impact its financial results for 2025, although the extent of the impact cannot be determined at the present time.

It affirmed that any relevant developments will be disclosed in due course.

UCA also said it will implement effective and practical corrective measures to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, in coordination with the Insurance Authority.

According to Argaam data, the Insurance Authority issued a decision to suspend UCA from issuing or renewing mandatory insurance policies, including health, motor, and domestic labor contracts, effective Oct. 27, 2025, after detecting several violations related to supervisory and regulatory instructions.
