JEDDAH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) monitored rainfall activity across parts of the Kingdom for 24 hours, with the Northern Borders and Al-Jouf regions recording varying precipitation levels. According to NCM data, the recorded rainfall occurred from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, with multiple monitoring stations registering measurable rainfall. The Northern Borders region recorded the highest rainfall amounts, with five stations reporting precipitation. Turaif Airport recorded the highest rainfall level at 15.2 mm, followed by Arar Airport at 9.3 mm, Turaif – Al-Khalidiyah at 9.6 mm, Arar – Hazm Al-Jalamid at 6.8 mm, and Arar – Umm Khinsar at 2.4 mm. In the Al-Jouf region, two stations recorded rainfall: Al-Qurayyat Airport registered 3.7 mm, while Turaif recorded 0.2 mm. The NCM had previously issued multiple weather alerts across the Kingdom, warning of varying conditions, from light to heavy rainfall. The center’s rainfall records showed which areas had the highest precipitation levels.
