US President Donald Trump issued a full travel ban on individuals from 12 countries, along with partial travel restrictions on citizens of seven additional countries. The decision is set to take effect as of Monday.
According to the official statement published by the White House, Trump decided to completely restrict entry for citizens of the following countries; Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.
The decision also imposes partial entry restrictions on nationals of: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
