The Transport General Authority (TGA) released the draft executive regulations for the delivery services on the public consultation platform (Istitlaa), inviting feedback until July 29.
The draft regulations aim to regulate and develop the delivery services activity, enhance service quality, and encourage investment — in coordination with relevant authorities. They also align with the Kingdom’s broader economic and social development goals, while considering environmental sustainability and safety and security requirements.
Under the proposed regulations, the provisions apply to licensed companies operating in the delivery services activity. It is strictly prohibited to engage in delivery activities without a valid license from TGA, or to continue operations if the license has expired, been suspended, or revoked.
