Temperatures to drop to 0°C in northern regions, NCM warns

JEDDAH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has forecast a drop in temperatures across several northern regions of the Kingdom, with near-subzero readings expected from Feb. 18 to Jan. 1.The forecast is based on the NCM’s animated weather map outlining areas affected by the temperature decline.According to the center, the cold wave is expected to hit on Saturday and Sunday, impacting most northern parts of the Kingdom.Temperatures are forecast to drop to as low as 3°C, with some areas expected to reach 0°C.The affected regions include Tabuk, Al-Jouf and the Northern Borders.
