Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG) announced the signing of the final media rights agreement its subsidiary Thmanyah Publishing and Distribution Co. with Saudi Pro Leage for the exclusive broadcasting of Saudi Football competitions for a term of six years.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company indicated that the contract’s geographical scope includes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), at a total value of SAR 2.32 billion.

The company highlighted that, pursuant to the award decision and the effective date, the expected financial impact has begun to be reflected in the second half of 2025. It also noted that SRMG is considered a guarantor under the contract for the implementing the agreement. There are no related parties involved.

According to data available with Argaam, The Saudi Pro League, the First Division League, and the Saudi Football Federation announced, on June 14, the awarding of exclusive broadcasting rights for Saudi football tournaments in the Middle East and North Africa to Thmanyah Publishing and Distribution.

The rights include coverage of the following competitions, King Cup, Saudi Pro League (Roshn League), Saudi Super Cup, and First Division League (Yelo League).

Thmanyah will broadcast the matches from the 2025/2026 season through 2030/2031. The matches will be broadcasted freely via newly launched satellite channels and subscription-based packages that offer additional benefits, delivered through an integrated digital and television experience.
