Specialized Medical Co. (SMC Healthcare) announced opening its new outpatient clinic center, SMC Clinics, on Prince Mohammad Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz Road in Al Malqa District in north Riyadh, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The new SMC Clinics will commence operations and start receiving patients as of today, Jan. 19, the statement added.
All trial phases for the operational requirements were completed, in addition to securing the necessary medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff to commence operations. The clinics will be operated on a gradual basis, in line with operational requirements and to accommodate the expected growth in patient numbers.
The relevant financial impact is expected to appear in the company’s consolidated financial statements for H1 2026.
The company signed in October a SAR 98.99 million lease agreement, excluding VAT, with Asas Althbat Co. to rent its first outpatient clinic center in Riyadh, data available on Argaam showed.
The 15-year lease is for a building located on Prince Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Road in Al Malqa district, northwest Riyadh. The new center will comprise 35 outpatient clinics spanning various specialties, including dentistry, endocrinology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, and physiotherapy. It will also house an urgent care unit offering full emergency services, an external pharmacy, and parking facilities for about 100 vehicles.
