In a resolution passed May 20, the Council also called on the TGA to expand and diversify logistics training programs offered by the Saudi Logistics Academy to meet the sector’s evolving needs.

The Council stressed the importance of increasing passenger rail capacity across all railway lines and raising train speeds to match those of the Haramain High-Speed Railway.

It also recommended that the TGA coordinate with relevant agencies to review service quality standards for shuttle transport provided to pilgrims.

The resolution came after the Council reviewed the Transport, Communications, and Information Technology Committee’s response to member feedback on the TGA’s annual report for 2025.
