Saudi Ground Services Co. (SGS) signed an agreement with daa International, the operator of the Red Sea International Airport, to provide handling services for all airlines over five years.

Under this agreement, SGS will be responsible for passenger services inside the terminal, and will oversee all apron operations, including aircraft marshalling, pushback, towing, provision of ground power, and baggage handling management.

The airport began receiving domestic flights in September 2023, and started welcoming international flights in April 2024, following the signing of aviation operations contracts by Red Sea Global in July 2023, and a partnership agreement with Dublin International to operate the airport in October 2022.
