The Social Development Bank (SDB), during its third-quarter meeting, discussed several topics on its agenda, with the aim to strengthen national efforts to serve citizens and support the Kingdom’s development system.
The SDB board reviewed the performance report for Q3 2025, which showed that total financing reached SAR 6.5 billion till the third quarter of this year, which benefitted more than 90,000 citizens and institutions from various regions of the Kingdom, state-run news agency SPA reported.
This financing was distributed among support for self-employed individuals and productive families, amounting to SAR 2.5 billion, benefiting more than 53,000 citizens, including 14,500 during Q3 2025; financing for small enterprises and startups, exceeding SAR 2.4 billion, benefiting 7,300 institutions; and social financing amounting to SAR 1.6 billion, which benefitted nearly 30,000 citizens, including 10,000 in Q3 2025.
The report noted that 58,400 new savings accounts have been registered till the third quarter, benefitting nearly 23,800 citizens, which reflects the bank’s efforts to enable financial and savings planning for beneficiaries.
