RIYADH — Saudi women have increasingly played a key role in the Ministry of Interior’s security ecosystem, demonstrating their competence in field, administrative, and specialized tasks. Their involvement spans local, regional, and international events, organizing exhibitions, supporting security operations, and providing community and family medicine services. At the World Defense Show, currently underway in Riyadh, the ministry is showcasing the vital contributions of women to maintaining security and public safety, and protecting lives and property. Their efforts extend to the security and service of pilgrims, including field organization, monitoring, translation, traffic management, and safety measures during Hajj and Umrah. Women also contribute to crime prevention, environmental protection, document restoration, and the development of electronic services, as well as to data analysis and the improvement of operational procedures in line with digital transformation. They play an integral role in the unified security operations centers (911) across the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, where they manage security reports.
