RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received on Tuesday a phone call from Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani. During the call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed the latest developments in Syria and the region, and the efforts being made to address them.Minister Al-Shaibani extended the congratulations of Syria to Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Founding Day, as well as on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. Prince Faisal bin Farhan reiterated the Kingdom’s supportive position toward the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and its unity and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of reinforcing stability and consolidating security across Syrian territory, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
