Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SPM) announced the 100% completion of its fifth production line for tissue rolls, with a production capacity of 60,000 tons per year, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The trial operations were successful, and commercial operations began on the line, bringing the plant’s total capacity to 190,000 tons per year of raw tissue rolls. This will enhance the company’s sales capacity to meet local market demand and support its export targets outside the Kingdom.

According to Argaam data, the company announced last June that trial operations for the fifth line would be scheduled during the third quarter of 2025.

The relevant financial impact will likely appear as of Q3 2025, the statement added.
