Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports rose 0.1% year-on-year (YoY) to almost SAR 74 billion, according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Meanwhile, merchandise imports increased by 2%, or nearly SAR 1.65 billion, month-on-month (MoM),as follows:
Imports of machinery and mechanical appliances, and electrical equipment and their parts topped in March, representing 26%, or SAR 19.3 billion of the total Saudi imports.
Vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and associated transport equipment came second at 15%.
