Merchandise imports dropped to SAR 77.4 billion in November 2025

Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports declined 0.2% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 77.4 billion in November 2025, marking the firstannual decline in about two years,according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Compared to October 2025, merchandise imports fell 7%, or nearly SAR 5.7 billion.
Machinery and mechanical appliances, electrical equipment and their parts thereof topped imports in November, representing 31% or SAR 23.7 billion of the Kingdom’s total imports. Vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and associated transport equipment followed at about 14%.
