Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports fell 3% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 75.5 billion in July, according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

Compared to June 2025, merchandise imports grew by 4%, or nearly SAR 2.7 billion.

Machinery and mechanical appliances, electrical equipment and their parts topped imports in July, representing 30% (SAR 22.6 billion) of the Kingdom’s total imports. Vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and associated transport equipment followed at roughly 13%.
